Ingredients
- 1 Keebler® Ready Crust® Reduced Fat Graham Pie Crust
- 2 tablespoons refrigerated egg substitute*
- 4 cups peeled and thinly sliced fresh pears
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/3 cup dried tart cherries
- 1 1/3 cups Kellogg's® Frosted Mini-Wheats® Bite Size cereal
- 4 teaspoons butter or margarine, melted
Directions
- 1. Brush bottom and sides of crust with egg substitute. Place on baking sheet. Bake at 375°F for 5 minutes.
2. Sprinkle pears with lemon juice. In large bowl stir together sugar, flour and nutmeg. Add pears and cherries. Gently toss until coated. Spoon into crust.
3. In small bowl toss together cereal and butter. Sprinkle over top of pie. Bake at 375°F about 55 minutes or until bubbly. (If necessary, loosely cover pie with foil during the last 15 minutes of baking to prevent over-browning.) Cool on wire rack.
*Note: If desired, substitute 1 beaten egg yolk, 1 beaten egg white or 2 tablespoons of a beaten egg for the egg substitute.
